Code 2 Bromley

Long shot here - I parked on East St, London, Bromley BR1 1QU last night and received a Code 2.

There were no yellow markings and it looked like a parking bay, someone was parked in a similar one opposite, someone behind me who was also ticketted.

There was a no parking sign (pitcure) that I didn't see further up the street (the attached map shows my parking spot as red X, sign as blue O).

So I assume I am in the wrong and should pay, but without any lines on the pavement indicating parking was prohibited I thought it was a little unclear.

Which is exactly as it should be!

According to GSV, it's a Restricted Parking Zone with a 24/7 waiting and loading restriction. RPZs don't have yellow lines or no loading markings.

Yes it's an RPZ 24/7.

Did you not see the entry signs - I presume you went through them at start of East Street.

The council pics just show your car and no zone entry signs.

Whoops - case confirmed, I am an idiot.

Looks like I'll be paying up.

Thanks for the clarification though :).
