Stopped in Box junction and unablet to reverse because car behind too close

Hi all, recently got a PCN for stopping in a box junction. The driver was not able to reverse back out of the box junction because the car behind was too close. Is this a good enough reason for appeal or is that likely to be thrown out?

Please add the details as per the sticky.

You refer to not being able to reverse out. Why didn't the driver simply exit the conventional way, forwards?
