I have a similar issue at the same spot (although my car started a bit further ahead than yours) and was referred to this link. I just want to point out that in their rejection letter to you they have included a picture of the no entry signs at Redcross Way NOT the new Union Street no entry signs - the picture is totally irrelevant. But then they couldn't spot the difference between your car and the other that went ahead. They don't know what they're doing, yours is a black and white claim and a ticket should never have been issued. I park in that bay all the time (you parked directly behind my VW), how many tickets am I going to get in future? Best of luck with the claim!
