Dear @cp8759 and other administrators,

We have just received the PCN below. After reviewing the video, we realized that we entered the yellow junction box. please see the location in google map here (https://maps.app.goo.gl/NDES8a4BWKwTcZZY6).
It was a rainy day with poor visibility, and we are new to the area and unfamiliar with the road conditions. Do you think it is worth appealing on these grounds? Thank you for your time and advice in advance.

I had a look at the video on the Redbridge website, and, sorry to have to say it, the contravention is made out very clearly. You drove out of the side road into the box when there was no space at all for you to exit the box and stayed in the box for a considerable number of seconds.

However, it may not be game-over yet, because there may be a 'technical' appeal argument not related to the actual contravention based on council mismanagement of the enforcement process, or fatal errors in the PCN itself, (although the PCN looks OK to me). So wait a bit until others have had an opportunity to contribute, but don't miss any payment or representations deadline on the PCN.

Thank you for your prompt reply and opinion. Lesson learned - we’ll be more mindful of junction boxes in the future; they’re far too costly.
Have a great day! Kind regards
