My son, who is a learner driver, I was his passenger entered Lebanon Road from Lower Addiscombe. The top end of Lebanon Road is one-way, hihwas where were were forcing him to continue straight a head onto Addiscombe Road. He made a left turn to return home in Addiscombe and encountered a sign indicating restrictive hours. At that point, we realized we were in the hours for the restricted; however, there were no possible turns off this road, as all the side roads were marked as no entry. It was unsafe for him to attempt a U-turn on this busy road, especially with tram traffic, which is challenging for a learner driver. I fear this was the last sign warning and may be caught on camera. Is it possible there would be a case to appeal if we do get a fine especially as a learner driver?
