PCN received on bus lane - Cambridge Heath Rd E2
« on: »
Hi there,

I received a PCN for using the bus lane on Cambridge Heath Rd E2, I was coming from the the cemetery after burying my cousin’s son that day and was in a hurry to drop off my cousin and then to go an pick up my mum from London hospital as she had finished her dialysis and was waiting, i did not realise the bus lane and my cousin said it was a bus lane and I quickly then moved into the right lane which could be seen in the video.
I received the PCN today and is dated 02/02/26 and the 14 days time is over. Appreciate any advice on How would can challenge this.
I attach the PCN below

Their sole evidence is a video which we need to see, but can't because you're redacted too much. Please un-redact PCN Number and vehicle registration. Alternatively, download it yourself and post it here.

In addition, please explain how the below, got you to Cambridge Heath Road:-
"I was coming from the the cemetery after burying my cousin’s son that day............. i did not realise the bus lane and my cousin said it was a bus lane and I quickly then moved into the right lane which could be seen in the video".

The cemetery was in Romford and my cousin lives in Bethnal Green past Cambridge Heath rd, he was talking to me and there was a bit of a traffic and I thought I use the lane ok the left since it was clear but as I turned in he said it’s a bus lane so I quickly turned in to the right lane

I won a case against this council last summer as they failed to attend the hearing amongst other things which they must in this legislation. Back later with a draft.
I REGRET THAT, FOR THE PRESENT, I AM UNABLE TO TAKE ON ANY MORE CASES AS A REPRESENTATIVE AT THE LONDON TRIBUNALS. THIS IS FOR BOTH PERSONAL AND LEGAL REASONS. PLEASE DO NOT PM ME UNLESS YOU HAVE POSTED YOUR THREAD ON THE FORUM AND I WILL ATTEMPT TO GIVE ADVICE.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.
