I received a PCN today morning. The parking at merton is cheap and I always pay, however I was preoccupied and thought it is Sunday (free).
I remembered this 15 min later and paid immediately from my phone for 30 min, and walked toward parking.
However at that exact moment the person was posting the notice on my car.

I talked to him and he said he does not see paarking has been paid on his system. He however took photo of my phone and uploaded on the website (so council has record of parking paid as photo from phone). The 2 photos you see in the links with timestamp on top are from the merton website. You might make it that I paid parking few seconds before the first photo.

I have also shared notice and email from ringo for parking. Notice says time of contravention 10:48am, and the ringo that parking pai from 10:48.

How should I go about appealing this?
