There are no additional signs on the bay or the post saying that it is not ruled by the same norm as the street so I assumed I was safe to park there on a Saturday.
Sorry, but I see a correctly marked bay with carriageway text "Car club only" and a sign also saying the same. Each end of the bay shows the double-dashed bay delimiters as well.
However, (isn't there always a "however" !), the two signs are very badly placed with the car club bay sign on its own and the sign for the pay-to-park bay on its own at the division between the bays. As such this is misleading.The two signs should have been mounted on the same pole side by side, with arrows to indicate applicability, and you should submit reps on this basis. Such is the venal greed for cash by councils, they will reject your reps and you'll only get an opinion unaffected by the cash, at the Scottish adjudicators.This means you'd have to risk the full PCN penalty
