Hi ALL

Thanks in advance.

I would be grateful if you can help me with appealing a PCN charge at Frobisher Road in Haringey. I have uploaded photos of the PCN and also of the two signs

a) the advanced signage as you approach the road
b) the sign as you enter the road.

Both signs are obscured by foliage at this time of the year. Furthermore, to complicate matters there was ongoing roadworks in Wightman road on the approach to the turning.

You've blanked out PCN Number and car reg so we can't look at the video, their sole evidence.

You have a single opportunity to submit representations, then it's London Tribunals at the full PCN penalty. Your photos look reasonably persuasive, so go for obscured signage and see what they say in their (inevitable) rejection.

However, be careful, because if GSV is to be believed, there is plenty of distance after that tree for the advance sign to be seen, bearing in mind this is a 20mph street: -

Hi Incandescent,

Thank you for your reply.

I wasn't aware I could access a video recording and I have just attached it to the post. Also, I have included a photo of roadworks before the turning that was an additional distraction.

Thanks for your help.

Video doesn't tell us much. Appeals are allowed particularly for left turns into these restrictions. Checking the tribunal register is necessary plus maybe doing a walking video towards the turn.

Thank you all for your help and I will be appealing the PCN.
