Parking in a restriced time zone, Leytonstone e11
« on: July 27, 2023, 12:44:54 pm »
Hi All,

My Sister took my mum for some grocery shopping in Leytonstone and parked in the restricted timed zone.

My mum is elderly and disabled and my sister is a full-time career for her, hence helping her out and parking near the grocery store that they were to visit on the high road.

My Mum has visited this area before with my dad in the past but always parked in the same area (unknowingly) outside these restricted times.

Is she bang to rights here?

You need to give us the PCN number and the number plate so that we can see the council video.
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor nor a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193.

OP, this isn't a parking contravention so you might want to amend the title of your post, the contravention relates to entering a zone when not permitted and is known as a moving traffic contravention.
