as title, paid the congestion charge but made a typo in vrm and have a pcn.

I'm thinking of paying the 90 quid to keep the discount and appealing. Is that allowed?

What is the typo.Is the wrong VRM a live one.

Don't pay as that closes the case. A polite ask to TFL will hopefully get a cancellation but if they reject they will reoffer the discount.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if that would happen. You're saying I keep the discount irrespective of whether I win or lose the appeal?

So far as I know the vrm is invalid, I missed a letter off it, emailed them the next day and got told they would pcn me, which turned up yesterday, dated 24th Jan. I'll appeal and see what happens.
