Hiya, thanks for getting back to me.
I've attached the online PCN (with personal details redacted).
I don't have a copy of my challenge as they didn't email me a copy, but I effectively said what I said here.
I've attached a photo of their response to my challenge. They say there is sufficient signage in the area. However, there is no signage about Ringo facing the road, where I was standing when I parked and paid. I had to stand on that side, as that is the direction that the main parking sign faces. There is only signage about Ringo facing towards the pavement, which I have only now just realised having looked at the online PCN. Having read the sign and been satisfied that I needed to pay via the Pay by Phone app, I had no reason to think I needed to go to the pavement side to investigate further. I simply paid and crossed the road. I paid for one hour of parking and went to a medical appointment.
I actually returned yesterday to take a video of where I parked, which I've also attached. I still didn't realise there was signage about Ringo on the pavement side when I returned. As mentioned above, I've only noticed that now, having looked at the images on the online PCN.
Here's the Google street link
Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.
Given that I actually paid for parking (via the Pay by Phone app, as the sign says "Pay by Phone") and, given there is no Ringo signage visible from where I had to stand to read the main sign, I feel like Redbridge council surely don't have any grounds.
Any help or advice with a further appeal would be much appreciated!
