Hello. I would please like some help or advice regarding a ticket I got on 26/03/2025. I had been very busy, as I had moved house recently and I am running back and forth from the storage, to the garage and to the new place, gathering things. It's highly stressful and I almost forgot about this. Today I found the ticket and decided to look online for help, if it's not too late. My apologies if it is, it's my fault for not dealing with it sooner.

This is what had happened on the day: I had parked the car with both wheels on the pavement for about 10 minutes, as there was a red route and did not want to cause an obstruction. This was at 797 London Road, in Thornton Heath, CR76FJ. I returned to find officer 7373T walking away very quickly, looking back towards me and the car with a concerned face. I did get another ticket from TfL a few years back, but this one is different. It looks like a Tesco receipt, a long and narrow strip of paper, about 2 feet long, issued by a hand held device, I would assume. There is no contravention code on it this time, it just says'In circumstances giving me reasonable cause to believe that the vehicle was Parked with one or more wheels on or over a footpath or any part of the road other than a  carriageway. It is my first time here and I'm not sure how to do things, so please bear with me. I will try to upload some pictures of the ticket. Many thanks in advance, Daniela.

Well, sorry to tell you that parking off-carriageway in London has been an offence since the 70s and requires no signs or lines at all. As a motorist you are suppose to know about this restriction.

Please post up the PCN as promised and also a GSV link to the exact location.

Here is 797, London Road, Thornton Heath: -

so where were you parked ?

PCN served 26 March.

TfL could serve a NTO on the registered keeper any time after 22 April. I suggest you get on to TfL's website and check the current status.

Hello Incandescent and H C Andersen and thank you for the replies. My apologies, I am not very tech savvy, but I am determined to learn. I read the forum rules after posting and I edited some of the post to make it better. I did upload an image with the PCN when initially posting. It shows for me, not sure if others can see it. I tried the imgur.com link, yet it seems to be overflowing({"data":{"error":"Imgur is temporarily over capacity. Please try again later."},"success":false,"status":403}). I will try finding a similar site that could help.
I will also learn about GSV, as I have not used it before, thank you Incandescent.
I checked the PCN status and it shows: Current status Outstanding amount £ 160.00. It also says under the pictures: 'Photo taken from London road network camera showing the vehicle WR08OUY affected by this PCN.' That is an obvious lie, as they are showing 4 pictures taken from 4 different angles, by someone's phone.

As imgur.com shows busy despite several attempts, I will look for a site similar to it and post the PCN. I will also look at GSV and see what I need to do to post the link. Again, many thanks for the help.

OK, I now have the GSV link: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.3955026,-0.1149512,3a,75y,271.78h,90.99t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1s6wfvDLaa0SehekLvwDp1KA!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26w%3D900%26h%3D600%26pitch%3D-0.9914472549909448%26panoid%3D6wfvDLaa0SehekLvwDp1KA%26yaw%3D271.7818346639804!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDQyMy4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D
The car was parked between the tree on the rhs of the imagine and the next one, which does not show in the picture, but it is roughly about 5 meters away. It was parked with consideration for the pedestrians, near to the curb, between the trees, leaving ample room for passersby, as not to inconvenience anyone. Not that TfL would ever care about that, of course, just saying.

I found an alternative to imgur.com: postimage
It takes about a minute for one picture to upload, but at least it works.
