Hi,
I received a PCN dated 9th March, alleging I entered a pedestrian zone during the restricted hours. I have attached my own photo of the approach to the turn (https://cdn.imgpile.com/f/lozJrWM_xl.jpeg) as the signage does not currently show on Google (https://maps.app.goo.gl/DuySFK5TAnsymKwT6).

Do I have any case here? There is clear signage prior to the left turn and at the entrance to Canon Avenue (https://cdn.imgpile.com/f/3bXpCVI_xl.jpeg). I realised mid-way through the road that I was in contravention and I turned around and exited the road, but as their evidence shows me entering the road, I assume this defence would fall flat. So there is an advance sign. So why, despite the sign, did you turn in ? Was the sign clear/obscured/bent/damaged ?
Unfortunately, the presence of an advance sign makes your representations to the council less forceful.
