Lambeth, code 12s Mount Nod Road Parked in a residents
« on: »
Hi , I received this pcn this morning, having parked briefly for a pickup.
I've noted there's no observation period. Are there any grounds for appeal?

Picking up whom or what? For how long and from where?

Are you a PHV driver?

Too little information.

Assisted boarding is an exemption.

How old and was she ready to go?

No observation means you can just say as long as necessary and not volunteer time.

Link to informal appeal and NoR from Lambeth received today.

Should have sent the drs note, with the informal appeal, but I’ll have to send it with the formal appeal. Although the discount offer will be removed at that time.

APPEAL:

NOR

I've noted the original pcn states a charge of £140 (£70) and the NoR £160 (£80).

Something definitely wrong there !!  You need to wait for the Notice to Owner if you want to take the matter further. I suggest you also obtain some collateral to back up your statement re your daughter's Osgood-Schaltters syndrome

Osgood-Schlatter disease (OSD) is one of the most common causes of knee pain in adolescents. It's really not a disease, but an overuse injury.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.
