ULEZ NTK Challenge Possible?
« on: »
Received the following as NTK even though I was not driver but understand liability lies with keeper.

As it was parked overnight there was also penalty for following day.

Any recourse to go back on at all or need to pay both of them?

Very difficult to fight these as you were either there or you weren't. I assume this is just one of the two PCNs. It might be prudent to post the other 3 pages so we can check it for errors, but it's thin gruel at the moment, I'm afraid unless our intrepid adminstrator delves into the ULEZ regs and finds a killer appeal, there is little to go on. Did the PCN arrive like that with an unreadable title ?

Thank you for the response, yes that is correct 1 of the 2 received, see attached the other 3 pages as well as the other pcn received. The header was clear rather than how it is shown on the attached

Is your vehicle definitely non-compliant with the ULEZ compliancy rules ? There have been one or two cases where there was a dispute about compliancy.

The PCN has been paid in full, so nothing to see here. Signage could have been investigated, but obviously it's now academic.
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.
