I was picking up my kids from school and there was no place to park. I parked here and there was 2 signs so I saw the first one and thought it safe to park. I received the PCN and want to know is there any point in appealing or should I just pay.

What happened to the windscreen PCN - did you challenge it?

Let's see the PCN and any challenge and rejection.

There is an exemption for boarding which can be assisted from nearby premises for people who need assistance such as young children.

The PCN I challenged but it got rejected. Unfortunately I do not have access to either. By your last point do you mean an argument may be possible on the grounds that

There was no parking close to the school.
My young children were waiting to be picked up and they were already late
I parked in the spot no longer than necessary to pick up my children (considering the walk to the school and getting them ready)

Do the children have to be collected by an adult as a matter of policy?
