Hi all,
I am hoping there is a way to appeal this PCN. From what I gather this is a fairly new contravention, which has been applied to generate funds for the council.
Basically, you now need to have a permit or be a bus to use Broadwater Road.
I approached from The Avenue, and turned right onto Broadwater Road. It was dark when on the day in question, and I saw not signage at the time.
After looking on Google maps I can see there was no signage warning of a prohibition right turns on the approach to Broadwater Road, you would only see any signs as you turn into the road, at which point it would be too late.
I also noted there was not lighting on the signs either, which would be needed as this is a very dark area.
I can’t help but think there is insufficient signage for this contravention.
Can anyone help?
