Please read this and update your thread accordingly: -

Their video, (the sole evidence of the alleged contravention), shows your car in a lane with a worn, broad white line to its right, and no signs are showing as passed. This might get the PCN cancelled at London Tribunals, but the signs are in postion at the start of the bus lane.

Please tell us your journey that took you along this bus lane. Did you not think it odd that your vehicle was alone in that lane with all the other traffic in the other lane ?

There is a "technical" appeal based on the Act  at the top of the PCN, but I'll wait for Hippocrates to explain it. YOu would have to take them to London Tribunals unless the council fold on reading your reps.

Hi, thanks for the response. I was on my way to Leytonstone. The 2nd image you posted was from before the road was redone to now include the traffic light and if you notice from that image, down the road, you will see cars parked on the side. That's the side the pcn was given and honestly, I wasn't thinking that morning as I was running late but definitely knew there was no bus lane after the traffic lights

I posted an earlier GSV view because the 2025 view had so much traffic on it, it was difficult to show the signs, but here is the 2025 view. Are you saying it is now different ?

The above shows a bus lane sign after the traffic lights, as does the 2024 view. In fact the two bus lanes have been there since 2016 according to GSV. Here is the 2016 view showing the sign greyed-out, indicating it is yet to be implemented.

Then in 2018, (t he next GSV view), the bus lane has been implemented

So why do you say "...definitely knew there was no bus lane after the traffic lights" when it has been there since 2016 ?

For me, your only hope is Hippocrates posts here.

Maybe 'Hippo' is on holiday or taking a well-earned rest. If he comes on and suggests an appeal, be aware that this will be a London Tribunals appeal with the full PCN penalty in play.
