Let's stay on the subject of how even unrelated (to parking) correspondence doesn't reach you, in this case a response to a standard SAR. There must be a simple explanation. In any event you must dispassionately follow up this apparent lapse.

Perhaps..

Sir,
Subject Access Request *****

On ** this was submitted to the council and an acknowledgement received on ***, see attached.

I must inform you that I have not received the council's substantive response nor any reason for its lateness. I should be grateful if you would look into this as a matter of priority. For the avoidance of doubt my postal address is ***** and my email contact is ******.

Yours faithfully,

Please send the below email to councillor John Morris. His email is john.morris@newham.gov.uk

Put "Complaint - Subject Access Request IRR 2025-001304" into the subject line. And attach a copy of the original SAR letter I provided you with in reply #196 on the 18th July. Letter here.

"Dear Councillor Morris,

I am resident in your ward so I am seeking your help and support with a complaint.

On the 23rd of July 2025 I submitted a Subject Access Request to Newham Council and received an acknowledgement with reference IRR 2025-001304. I submitted the request via the Council's web portal provided for this purpose.

You will be aware that the Council has one calendar month to respond to an SAR request.

I have not received the Council's substantive response nor any reason for its lateness. I would be grateful if you would look into this as a matter of priority and chase the Council to respond.

Yours,

Viktors Tocinskis
