Edgware Road, London - 32d Contravention
« on: »
Hi, I have received a PCN from TfL for a 32d contravention.

I am a blue badge holder and was searching for a parking space - I was visiting my disabled sister to help with packing as she is getting ready to move to a new flat.

I turned left onto Old Marylebone road from Edgeware road. I did not see any "no left hand turn" sign, however there is a small blue circle with a white arrow on the traffic lights (which I did not notice at the time).

Thank you

Unfortunately, these "ahead only" arrows on traffic lights, plus the confirming green arrow, are mandatory on a motorist, and a sad fact of life nowadays.  There is no need for any "no left turn" sign. One cannot turn right either here.

I'm not sure what to suggest as representations, but it does look as if you'd be looking for a "technical" appeal argument, such as the PCN containing errors.

BTW you need to post up the whole PCN for it to be checked for errors. You've only posted part of Page 1.
