Here is the location, and the NRT signs, (two), look clear enough. Not only that, they taken the trouble to alter the road layout to make it more obvious that one should go left only.

So did you just chance your arm, or was there another reason for missing the signs ?

Final advice really requires we see the video, so please download it from their website and post it here.

We need the PCN and VRM details.
I REGRET THAT, FOR THE PRESENT, I AM UNABLE TO TAKE ON ANY MORE CASES AS A REPRESENTATIVE AT THE LONDON TRIBUNALS. THIS IS FOR BOTH PERSONAL AND LEGAL REASONS. PLEASE DO NOT PM ME UNLESS YOU HAVE POSTED YOUR THREAD ON THE FORUM AND I WILL ATTEMPT TO GIVE ADVICE.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.

So, two clear NRT signs, and the video shows you stopped by them indicating to turn right, which you then do. It's difficult to see how you could have missed these and you haven't given us any reason for not obeying the sign.

All you can realistically do now, is wait a bit until others have looked and maybe seen a "technical" issue related to the PCN itself. Don't just cough-up now, it is important that all avenues are looked at, and anyway we always recommend submitting reps so their reply can be examined for fatal errors

@Jimmy2Times so did you just chance it thinking there wasn't a camera, or did you actually miss the signs?

There's an advance warning sign here https://maps.app.goo.gl/bpAYdpcZoK6Tw9oD8 and the regulatory signs are here https://maps.app.goo.gl/cS8zmryVDn4SqkVNA

You might as well make a representation on day 14 (3rd July) saying the contravention did not occur, this will see the discount extended and will buy us some time. In the meantime I'll get hold of the traffic order for this restriction, if you're really lucky it might not exist (we've seen a few such cases recently).

I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.

@Jimmy2Times did you make a representation?

In the meantime I've got hold of The Ealing (Prescribed Routes) (No. 67) Traffic Order 2004.
