I have received a charge certificate for each of these bridge crossings. I crossed on the 13.2.24 and was issued on the 26.2.24 however i do not recall receiving this letter. The 2nd i crossed on the 27.2.24 and was issued on the 23.4.24. I was working in Halton at the time, a new area for me and was not aware of the bridge charges. I assume there are notices but i didn't notice them. I am a social worker so I will have been responding to an emergency given the times i crossed both around 16:00. I did ignore the letter i received however i have not received any other communication from them until on Friday 4.10.24 i had a bailiff attend from Marston who asked my partner for the wrong person and then put a clamp on my rear wheel. The morning after the clamp had gone. I called them today and they said they had done an HPI check so had to take the clamp off. They said i owe ££639 but will get the office to take £110 off as the clamp shouldn't have been put on. The agent said he will accept £50 a month - i just cant afford this. i have lots of other parking issues going on. I'm going to contact the police today as i think my reg has been copied as i am getting letters from up and down the country!!!
