Hello! Thanks in advance for the help.

Parked this morning 24th, ticket issued for code 21 Parked in Wholly or partly suspended bay or space.

2 spaces outside numbers 3 and 5 were restricted. HOWEVER:

One parking notice on nearest lamp-post has restriction for 17th Nov to 21st Nov (the one that I saw), the other one down the other side of street shows 24th all day.

Photo here of where the restricted area is and where the notice board is that says 17th to 21st:

Image of the board showing 17th to 21st (still up now, afternoon of 24th):

PCN front:

PCN Back:

The evidence on Camden website does not show ANY photos of the restriction notices on the street, just photos of the car.

Thanks

Council pics have none of the suspension signage - I think you can just make out one in the background.

But this is hopeless for them not to be able to show an adjudicator anything. I don't know why but Camden often makes a mess of suspension signage.

If you haven't you can though sign up for suspension alerts here:

thanks what i meant is there is not a photo of the board which shows the restricted time/days on the evidence (presumably because one of the notices is out of date showing 17th to the 21st!).

I'm not a resident, parked here for 15 minutes to get a coffee which I do regularly and it's free until 10am, ticket was issued at 8.20am.

The thing I will be challenging on is that the board that I walked past between parking and getting the coffee is the one above, which showed that the restriction ended on 21st so i assumed parkign on 24th was fine!

Did you get a photo of the 24th sign showing that it was on the other side of the street?

Signs on the other side of the street govern that side of the street only. You are entitled to rely on the sign on your side of the street nearest to your vehicle.

OP, for clarity...

On 24 Nov. I parked in a parking place situated between nos. 1b and 23 ***** Rd.

The parking place is continuous and not internally sub-divided into separate parking spaces. It runs from no.1b to no. 23. There are 3 traffic signs within the parking place situated o/s nos. 1/1b, 9, 17/19.

On the day in question I parked o/s no. *.

OP, pl just fill in the gaps and then we can take this forward step by step.

Can't see much need to go further than puzzled to get PCN as nearest sign had a suspension sign that had expired - see my pic. PCN has been issued in error, please cancel.

They don't have a pic of the suspension sign they can rely on and its relationship to the car and adjudicators really don't like this as they can't check anything and usually find for appellants.

Didn't explain that well - it was on the correct side of the street, but towards the other end (ie the opposite direction to where I was facing and where I walked after parking). Checked the visible restriction sign shown but not the other one - is that an issue?

OP, I would appreciate you filling in the gaps in my previous post.

We need hard, objective info, not personal observations and assessments, these would become obvious once we've got the hard data in place.

OK sorry i thought that was a statement for me to complete and include in the challenge:

On 24 Nov. I parked in a parking place situated between nos. 1B and 23 Bisham Gardens.

The parking place is continuous and not internally sub-divided into separate parking spaces. It runs from no.1b to no. 23. There are 3 traffic signs within the parking place situated on the boundary fence 1a, outside 9, betweeen and 17/19.

On the day in question I parked o/s no. 3 (on the side of the house closest to 1a - number 3 is a very wide house).

Thanks.

From your earlier account, can you expand on '2 spaces outside numbers 3 and 5 were restricted'.

We have detail about the sign that dod not apply, but sketchy info about the one referred to by the CEO.
