I have received a PCN from Bradford council, it was a surprise to me when I opened the letter as I was unaware I had been in any bus lanes at all. I have googled the exact location and to no surprise it's already been sucessfully and publically challenged, please see here:
A DRIVER has won an appeal over a penalty charge notice he was given for driving in the Church Bank bus lane.
My case is the exact same, I turned from Peckover Street and because it was busy (peak time as you can see on the PCN) and due to the bad placement of the signs, I was not able to see them. I then had no choice but to enter the bus lane further down the road or risk a dangerous manoeuvre.
I'm looking for advice on how I should go about challenging this, and I want to know if there's any way to access the documents or the judgment made by the adjudicator mentioned in the case I have linked. I can see the man who challenged the PCN was named Anthony Bryce, but I am unsure how I could look through the archives to find such a thing.
Please can someone with a bit more experience lend me a hand?
Thanks guys!
