Hi all,
I bought a car on Thursday and took it through both the Silvertown & Blackwall tunnel through charging times on the same day.
As I have autopay on my other car, and was already stressed out that day due to issues with the car I just bought, it completely skipped my mind that I actually need to add this car to the account.
I (incorrectly!) thought it was already there and I'd just be debted as normal at the end of the month.
'Twas only around ~12:05am today that I realised (just over the 3 days grace!) that I needed to both add the account AND pay for the crossings.
I've now done that, but it's too late.
I already know there's a piece of paper coming for me, possibly two.
While I'm pretty much BTR, is there a case where TFL would be lenient enough to cancel this charge with an appeal mentioning my account?
Or will the appeal just buy me more time for the inevitable £90 (or scarily, £180) fee?
(Also on that note - does anyone know if these PCN's will be bundled as one, or two?).
