Hello,

Looking for some advice. At my previous job, staff are entitled to free parking on the smart parking controlled car park. My registration was never put on the system by my previous employer, resulting in me getting several tickets through the door from while I was on shift. When I told my employer, I was told to send the charges to their email. I was given an incorrect email, meaning many of the charges are over 28 days old now.

I have received 11 charges in total, my former employer has contacted smart parking asking for them to be removed as I was employed there, and they said they are upholding the charges.

I have appealed these charges with proof of my employment, but am yet to hear back. I am quite stuck, especially with it being so many.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have anything in writing from your employer, who is probably the firm that contracted (not so) Smart Parking, that mentions anything about parking at the location and copies of any correspondence/emails that says they will get them cancelled?
