Hi guys,

I know I probably need to add the pictures of letters etc to this thread but right now I've had alot going on and this needs to be dealt with sooner than later.

Background story, I have a PCN for being at my mother in laws for 45 minutes instead of the 15 your allowed. The reason the landlord has chosen a company to pursue these is because there is a school opposite and they love to park on this over 60's estate.

Usually, based on what I've read previously, I have ignored these and never heard anything back but this time they seem to be determined.

What are my options? Is it worth defending this to prolong the process while I argue my case or what? They are trying to claim £272.70?!

Any help is greatly received and I will post the pictures of the letters at some point but have like 4 days to do something about this online.

Cheers guys

https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/ tells you, amongst other things, how to post pictures.

If you do not have the PCN, you can request it from the parking company with a Subject Access Request, but you need to do this immediately and hope you get a response in time for your defence deadline. As in tomorrow is too late.

I have attached the links to the images because it's 2 full letters. I don't have the PCN's and funnily enough I have another one from October 2024 that they haven't pursued. They have also now given the tenants a code to scan to enter the reg rather than go to the common room which wasn't an option previously.

I will get onto them for copies of the PCN and also submit my defence right now.

Thanks for the help guys as always.

Hi guys,

I've had a look around the site and have seen various posts regarding advice i.e contracts with landlord etc but does anyone have any advice to defence now and the steps or can point me to posts for the best advice.

I don't have issue fighting it just want to give myself the best chance and really don't want to pay them a penny when it was designed to stop school parking not me going to the mother-in-laws to get my children.

Thanks in advance
