This absolutely disgusts me as there is a warning/caveat which MUST be ticked at the bottom which states this:

I understand that a false declaration on this form may result in prosecution or a fine, upon conviction, of up to £5,000.

I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. There will be more from this council and others. Their belief that their website is ok is wholly misconceived.

The grounds of appeal on the website for 34J are standard and used by multiple authorities and meet all the current requirements.

This statement is not only completely unhinged but also "wholly certifiable" - my new phrase.
